The Rise and Fall of Falls City Beer

In the summer heat of 1978, a white flag was quietly raised in downtown Louisville; the last brewery from a once vibrant regional market ceased to exist, and Kentuckians lost something special. Some blamed President Jimmy Carter and family for dealing the final blow that sank the once proud brewery, but truth be told, as Falls City Beer was being buried, the seeds for its rebirth had just been planted.
